Ali Mazrui’s Death

Ali Mazrui was a writer and professor who wrote on different matters that have over the years gained a lot of popularity. The professor died at the age of 81 on October 12, 2014 while in the United States. He lived In New York where he worked as a professor in Binghamton University.

According to friends and family, the renowned professor had been ill for some time and this was the cause of death. Alamin Mazrui says that his uncle’s wish was to be buried in his home country Kenya. Preparations for this are being made.

He has studied and worked as a professor in many countries of the world. In Kenya, he has been involved in a lot of universities such as JKUAT where he was once a chancellor. This is why his contribution to the Kenyan education system will definitely be remembered. His death is a great loss for many people.
