What Really Killed Isaac Ruto’s Daughter?

For his Excellency the governor of Bomet County and also the chairman of the council of Governors H.E Isaac Ruto, Friday was a day of sorrow and anguish for him and his family. This was after their daughter Ms. Emmy Chepng’etich Ruto who had been putting up a spirited fight against an unforgiving form of cancer known as Leukemia lost the fight and succumbed to the terminal illness.

Emmy died at the Aga Khan University hospital in Nairobi and it is safe to say given her diverse achievements at such a young age, Kenya has lost a truly talented and young soul. Until her death, Emmy was an electrical engineer with the Geothermal Development Company and that was not everything she had to offer.

She was also highly talented in cricket and was the captain of the Kenya National Women’s Cricket team. At Infobare, we send our condolences to the governor and offer him console in these hard times and wish Emmy a safe passage into the afterlife.
