Churchill show has been the starting point for many who want to stand out in the Kenyan comedy industry and it has seen the rise, leaving and the fall of some. With the exiting of teacher wanjiku and sleepy, Eric omondi has decided to leave the Churchill show. In a statement Eric omondi said he saw it fit to leave the show as there were too many comedians in the scene and his presence often overshadow them. With most critics stating his jokes were tribal Eric omondi’s move will see him build a better platform to enable him entertain his audience better.

In a statement he said:

I had been in the Churchill show for nearly 7 years and it has reached a time when I felt there were too many budding comedians who would stand a better chance of clinching the spotlight when I was not around. It has also reached a point when people started doubting my skills as a comedian. Some said that I could only do tribal jokes. To prove my critics wrong I opted to establish my own show dubbed UNTAMED and is currently on its third season.

With the success of the other two shows, one can only hope the best for Eric Omondi and hope that it will not be a total disaster as teacher Wanjiku’s show, which aired for only one season on Citizen TV.
