For those who had sat for their KCSE exams in Kisii School, Nyabururu, things got very thick. 145 students had their 2014 KCSE results cancelled over cheating allegations. Interestingly, this is not the first time that the school has had their exams cancelled. This has happened in 1995 and 2004. This time around the Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) accused the school of cheating in the English and History papers.
Another school which is facing the same predicament is Nyakoiba Secondary School. 216 candidates in the school had their results cancelled due to irregularities in the Kiswahili paper. Nyabururu Girls National School was also not left out, they had their 2014 KCSE results cancelled due to some irregularities in some papers.
None of the head teachers or school officials were available for comment on the subject. In the end it seems all the candidates will have to redo their examinations or face any other fate that befalls them.
