Juja Ward MCA Samuel Gitau Munene went missing a week ago and everyone feared for his life. No one knew what had befallen the vibrant youthful MCA. However on Sunday he was found along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. Reports from witnesses indicate that he must have escaped from the boot of the car belonging to his captors. He suffered a number of injuries on his legs and hands during his escape. He was so weak at the time that he could hardly talk to witnesses who had spotted him.

Once his identity was confirmed by governor Kabogo and a few other leaders in the area, he was quickly rushed to the Aga Khan Hospital for further treatment. His return after a week long search comes as a big relief to his family and friends alike.
