The NTV family and the media fraternity is mourning the loss of their former colleague Rosemary Nankabirwa. The once jovial presenter who took the news room by storm passed on, on 13th April, 2015 at the Aga khan hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Suffering exactly from adrenocortical carcinoma cancer, the presenter was first hospitalized at Mulago cancer institute, after which she was transferred to the Aga Khan Hospital where she spent her last moments. In a critical condition, the family of Rosemary decided to pull her out of life support after being advised by the doctors that she will not be recovering, as her condition was already beyond being saved.
With the huge bills piling up, many from her home country Uganda have come to the aid of the family to pay the bills. Among the most notable is president Museveni who chipped in sh.160, 000 to help the family get on its feet and lay the presenter to rest in Peace.
