This is the Alshabbab Terror Suspect who was Found In President Uhuru’s Gatundu South Home

In a new twist of events, the president of Kenya is now under the watchful eye of Alshabaab if the recent arrest made on Said Mire Siyad is anything to go by. With president Uhuru leading the war on terror in Kenya, it seems he has brought himself undue attention he did not seek from Alshabbab militia. This comes barely after the construction of the perimeter wall being commenced and the talks of the closure of Dadaab refugee being instigated.

The man who goes by the name Said Mire Siyad was found in the presidents Gatundu south residence on Tuesday by the security forces. He was handed over to the Anti Terrorism Police unit (ATPU) prosecutor, Daniel Karuri. Speaking to milimani resident magistrate Edda Agade, state prosecutor Daniel Karuri said they believed the suspect was carrying out surveillance so as to plan a terrorist attack once the plans were on the ground. He pushed for remanding the al Shabaab terror suspect in custody until investigations were done as releasing him would lead to his disappearance.

Said Myre Siyad alongside seven others are being held for 15 days to pave way for investigations to be carried out after which they will be charged with terrorism related acts if there is sufficient evidence.
