Laura Oyier Defends Herself After Leaving Another Hefty Unpaid Bill At A 5 Star Luxury Hotel

Drama seems to follow Laura Oyier whenever she visits Luxury hotels. The still “upcoming” artist pulled another stunt recently by leaving an unpaid bill at one of the most exclusive hotels in Nairobi, Kempinski. The drama is said to have started when she took some expensive drinks with no way to pay for them. She then left the bill to be settled by hot rod band members, a band she had gone to support. This is a claim she has since strongly refuted.

In a statement, Laura Oyier says that she had money on M-Pesa but the hotel did not have an option of paying with the service forcing one of the service men to accompany her to west lands Oilibya to make a withdrawal to settle the bill. This is her full statement as she spoke to a local newspaper.

“I was never detained at the hotel. I had a bill and when I offered to pay via MPesa, they said they don’t do MPesa transactions. I then got one of the service men accompanying me to Oillibya (Westlands) where a friend was. I then got the money and let the serviceman pay back at the hotel. This is a little misunderstanding. The reason I was at Villa Rosa was the fact that I had a meeting with one of the Hot Rod band members whom I wanted to hire for an upcoming United Nations event. I was also there to support the band,”

With this final act it is now rumored that Laura oyier has been banned from 5 star establishments. Maybe she should start going to places where she actually can afford to pay her bill as her act has now been discovered.
