Now a chief finance officer for the Nairobi County government, a Mr. Jimmy Kiamba is the subject of an investigation by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission for fraudulent transactions which have seen him lead an extravagant life for an 85 000 shilling salary.
The EACC is seeking a court order to freeze his assets and investigate claims that over sh. 400 million shillings have been transacted in his CFC Stanbic bank account between January and November 2014 when he has been in office. Mr. Kiamba has ostensibly established quite the empire since that period and it remains to be seen if his case will flop like all the others before it.
