American hit-maker Ne-Yo is in Nairobi and significantly touched down using KQ, the national carrier on the verge of collapse. He made his way to coke studio where he hobnobbed with a few local and international artistes such as Wangechi and Ice Prince. The Sexy Love singer is scheduled to perform at Coke Studio, the music franchise which has won many viewers over. He released a statement detailing his Coke Studio itinerary and how he is exited to work with diverse artistes. Coke Studio will receive a shot in the arm as the multiple award winning singer graces the show.
At the moment with tourism still recovering from shocks such as terror attacks and an economic downturn, Kenya is turning its fortunes by hosting powerful and well-known personalities around the globe. As the Sh 5.2 billion to resuscitate tourism is being rolled out, prominent figures such as US President Barack Obama, a slew of prime ministers from international waters, influential business magnates such as Mark Cuban and Richard Branson who came at the GES summit last month have visited our land giving it a huge endorsement.
Notably, last week CNN Managing director Tony Maddox was at Stare House where he apologised on behalf on the news channel for calling Kenya a hotbed of terror, diffusing any fears of visiting Kenya. The pope is scheduled to come next month and there is excitement all over the place about restoring Kenya’s image.
