Gospel Musician Ambassada Is Now A Wanted Man In Violent Robbery Case

Things haven’t been looking up lately for Kenyan based Ugandan gospel musician Ambassada. He is currently a wanted man after he skipped bail in a criminal case. A warrant of arrest has been issued against him by Kibera Senior Principal Magistrate, Lucas Onyina and things may get ugly if he continues running. So far he has missed three courst sessions where his presence was require. Ambassada had been accused of possessing an Ipad that had been stolen from comedian Fred Omondi Owino, who host the “Hapa Kule” News TV show.

In the case three people were accused of violently robbing Mr Omondi at gun point where he lost a number of valuable includidng his personal documents. Ambassada claims that he bought the iPad without prior knowledge of its previous owner or whether it had been stolen. He had no idea that the iPad would land him into so much trouble. When he was first brought to court Ambassada was released on a cash bail of Sh 40,000 that might be forfeited to the state if he doesn’t present himself to the authorities.
