Sometime last year, Maina Kageni and Eddah’s Hope Cancer Foundation decided to raise money with the intention to buy children suffering from cancer some equipment they are in need of. Initially, they had a target of Ksh10 million but Maina managed to double the amount by raising 20.6 million for the charity.
Maina Kageni decided to spend a total of 10 million shillings yesterday to buy the equipment for children suffering from cancer at the Kenyatta National Hospital. Maina Kageni explanation to why he used 10 million shillings in a single day was rather simple. He said that the money was put to good use.
Maina Kageni wrote that he was pleased to spend time with the little ones suffering from cancer at the Kenyatta National Hospital and he also expressed his gratitude to all the people who were involved in the journey of supporting the children as well as in raising the money for the equipment.
