Apparently, blogger Robert Alai and controversy are inseparable. As Kenyans were continuing to express mixed reactions over the incident that took place at the JKIA following the behavior of Congolese Musician Koffi Olimide, Alia was exchanging words with Cord principal Moses Wetangula. The argument started when the blogger alleged that the outspoken politician was suffering from domestic violence.
According to the blogger, there are many Kenyans who have been assaulted in the past and no one bothered to call for an action. He went ahead to refer to allegations that Wetangula is a good example of Kenyans whose lives have been miserable because of being battered by their spouses. He also mentioned a case where the Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero slapped the Nairobi women representative Racheal Shebesh two years. Alai believes that Kenyans should have reacted the same way. Wetangula could not keep his mouth shut. He decided to respond to the bloggers claims. Despite presenting a statement to the police some time back, the politician told Alai to shut and present Kenyans with facts.
