These Are The Shocking Details You Probably Dint Know About These Love Birds Who Were Intending To Commit Suicide After Entering Mount Kenya Forest

The search and rescue team is conducting a search in the Mount Kenya forest. The team is looking for a couple that went to the forest two weeks ago and no one has seen them since.

Yvonne Mwenda a 21 year old student at Kirinyaga Technical Institute and her boyfriend Dennis Kirimi a 22 year old musician are suspected to be on a suicide mission.

According to Simon Gitau the Kenya Forest Service Senior Warden, the couple turned off their mobile phones shortly after going into the forest through the Sirimon Gate which is in Meru County.

The two did not get accompanied by a tour guide and it is said that they were last seen at the St. Moses Camp.
Gitau also said that Yvonne had left a note saying they did not want anyone searching for them as they had gone to be with their maker.

The search begun after the couple’s parents reported their disappearance at the Timau and Kirinyaga police stations. The search team includes mountaineers who are conducting the search on foot, helicopters and security officers.

Mr Gitau seems to believe the disappearance was planned since the forest has good mobile network. He however hopes that the two will be found alive.
