The Kenyan Television Network (KTN) has clarified the celebrated media personality Jeff Koinange is not part of their staff. According to the media house, Jeff is merely a contractor working with them and the standard Media Group is not liable for any of his actions. KTN and Jeff have hit the headlines in the recent past for their Wednesday and Thursday night show after their last week’s show. This comes after Jeff hosted Miguna Miguna and Esther Passaris who are both eyeing the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in the next general elections.
However, all did not go well on a show meant to discuss different issues affecting the people of the region after the duo started showing little respect against each other on national television. The controversial lawyer took the opportunity to create a joke out of a rape incident directed at Passaris. The standard editor came out to denounce that Jeff works for KTN. ”I would want to remind the viewers here and anybody else who is interested that there are ways in which TV stations work. One includes outsourcing credible people to produce content and then you simply air. That is how Jeff Koinange’s show came to KTN. I want to clarify again that Jeff Koinange is not in the ranked file of the staff of the Standard Group. But the management has taken a decision which it will be following administratively, “he wrote.
