Renowned KTN Editor Charged For Stealing A Mercendes Benz Belonging To His Co Worker

A Standard Media Group editor has been arraigned in court for allegedly stealing a vehicle belonging to Kenya Television Network (KTN) anchor Doreen Biira. Aaron Obudho Ochieng was accused of stealing a Mercendes Benz valued at Sh.2.8 million at the Company Headquarters located along Mombasa road in Nairobi. The editor, however, denied the charges leveled against him and was freed on a cash bail of sh. 300,000 or sh. 1million bond. The silver colored Mercendes Benz E class with registration number KBY 831K was impounded in Kisumu on Friday at a Car Wash with different plates.

It is reported that Ms. Biira’s had parked her car at the company’s yard but later on she noted that her keys were nowhere to be found. When she went to check where she had parked the car, she was shock to realize that it was missing. The anchor was forced to report the matter to the security and transport officer at the company who also confirmed the car was missing after checking once more. Three suspects have been arrested and a case filed against them at the Makadara Division Industrial police Station.
