This is why Machakos County Governor, Dr. Alfred Mutua is Very Restless and is Having Sleepless Nights

Governor Alfred Mutua believes that there are some leaders who are working very hard to undermine Machakos County. He said that the county was up and running when the former president Mwai Kibaki signed the constitution instruments but since then, some leaders do their best to limit the progress of the county. This according to Alfred Mutua is why the people are suffering from great poverty.

The governor who was addressing a sitting of the county assembly however warned the people responsible for undermining the county to stop what they were doing. He said that they would not let few degenerates be responsible for the suffering of the people and that they will do all they can to see to it that the matter is solved. He also said that he was ready to work with leaders from Ukambani and other places to achieve this.

Alfred Mutua also admitted that the county has not turned out as he expected. He said it was because some of the officials did not do what they were expected to do.
