President Uhuru Kenyatta has invited both local and international dignitaries to his swearing in ceremony scheduled for Tuesday. The head of State’s team has sent invitations to different persons because of their exemplary performances and past associations with the commander in chief of the armed forces among other reasons. Some of the surprise guests expected at Uhuru’s luncheon are Martin Kamotho, alias githeri man, the 2017 top KCPE pupil Goldalyn Kakuya and her parents Harrison Webbo Tanga and Mathilda Jerono as well as John Gichuhi Macharia, the disabled voter who came into the limelight after voting using his foot.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Tanzanian President John Magufuli are among the head of state expected at the ceremony.
Other guests who will attend the ceremony are singers Ben Githae and Florence Jepng’etich, who composed Jubilee campaign songs, Ms Cherotich Tallam, who allegedly predicted Jubilee’s win, Uhuru’s nursery school teacher, Madam Lorna Kageliza Chayuga and bloggers Samson Ogolla and Gordon Opiyo.
