These Are The Suspects Who Were Found With KSH 17 Million Out Of The KSH 50 Million Which Had Been Stolen From KCB Thika Branch

Police have now recovered sh 17 million out of the sh 50 million which had been stolen from KCB Thika on 20th November. The suspects who were found in possession of the stolen cash were Charles Mwangi Murakaru, 30, Halford Munene Murakaru, 32, and Julius Wainaina, 32. According to detectives assigned to the case the cash was in various denominations including US dollars, British pounds, Canadian and Australian dollars.

The money which was recovered was transferred to KCB headquarters Nairobi for safe custody and the 3 suspects will be arraigned in court on Monday. Along with the cash some instruments which were used to dig the tunnel and break into the vault were found.
