David Ndii was arrested on Sunday evening while he was on vacation with his family in Diani. He was immediately driven to Nairob’s CID headquarters for questioning. The National Super Alliance (Nasa) strategist was later released on a KSH 10,000 bond after the Director of Public Prosecutions, Keriako Tobiko, ordered the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to release him. When asked how the police treated him while in custody he answered, “Respectfully”.
When asked about how he felt about the current government he answered, “Incompetent”.
It appears David Ndii is currently concentrating on matters of National Importance. He is part of the committee that is expected to attend Raila Odinga’s Presidential Inauguration on Tuesday, 12th December 2017.
