Kenyan politicians will never cease to amuse the public. Hon. Alfred Kiptoo Keter has caught the attention of the public for all the wrong reasons. It is hard to say honorable before his name after the incident that took place yesterday. The Nandi Hills legislator stormed the Gilgil weigh-bridge commanding the Kenya Police workers and a KENHA, SGS who are contracted to man the bridge to release a trailer. The trailer in question had no authorization for traveling on the road. The trailer owned by Sunjeev Kour Birdi, a URP nominated MP must have contained such important items.
So important were they that the two legislators left Nairobi in the cover of the night to threaten the unimpressed officers. Who knew MPs can use such huge words. Keter is caught on video threatening the officers with words that could easily make the devil blush in shock and leave one with blisters in their ears. When the two saw that officers were not moved by their threat, they left making even more threatening promises. And now that is what is called a shame in Kenyan politics!
