After the endless wrangles of who should have power over what and who should be benefiting, NTV, KTN QTV and Citizen TV are set to return on air on Thursday at 6.50pm. The four stations which have over 80% viewership in Kenya will retuen to digital platforms as free to air channels. The stations have been off air for over three weeks now after regulators felt the need to put them off.

However, not all is well, the government wants the media houses to put their content on two digital platforms that is Pang and Signet. Pang is believed to be a Chinese company with secret shareholders while Signet is a government owned platform.
